Children can join us in the nursery any time after their third birthday. As a partner provider with Perth and Kinross Council, we are able to offer 1140 Hours Early Years funded places and these are available from the beginning of the term following your child’s third birthday. There’s no need to wait until then, however, and we can accept children immediately after their third birthday on an unfunded basis if you would like them to start sooner.
We would be delighted to show you around at a time that suits you so that you can see for yourself what makes Craigclowan such a special place. Please contact Jennifer Trueland on 01738 230 555 and she will be delighted to make the arrangements for you. Ideally you should allow around an hour and a half for your visit.
No. If you think that Craigclowan is the place for your child, we will invite them to come along for a Taster Day. They spend a normal school day with the class we anticipate they will join and simply take part in all the activities their class is doing. This allows us to see where they are in their learning journey. All children joining us for a taster day spend a little time with a member of our Support for Learning team but there are no formal tests and children joining us for taster days leave us at the end of the day with beaming smiles on their faces and a desire to return!
