AIMS
OF CRAIGCLOWAN PTA
1. To organise social events throughout the
school year for parents, staff, and their
families. Currently we organise several BBQs and
a Welcome Coffee Morning, a Quiz Night, a Golf
Evening and a Christmas Fayre. Our form reps.
also organise their own events during the year.
We can offer information to parents about the
Craigclowan community.
2. To raise
funds for items outwith the school's budget which
benefit pupils, teachers and parents. In the past
we have bought a dividing net for the astroturf,
playground markings, BBQ and outdoor tables and
gazebos, protective flooring for the sports hall
and added two interactive whiteboards to the
school's existing stock.
3. To run a
second hand uniform shop for parents to buy and
sell uniform. Buyers benefit from the low price
and sellers can receive 50% of any uniform sold.
4. To give
help to teachers. Traditionally this has been the
organisation of the Pre-school and Junior
Christmas parties and refreshments at the Forms 1
to 5 Christmas Concerts.
