PTA BBQ Saturday
5th June 2010
Our second BBQ this term was held on a
beautiful sunny HOT day, excellent BBQ
weather! Thank you to the many families
who came along and a special thank you to
the Porter family who supplied those
delicious strawberries! A great time was
had by all as you can see from these
photos. This was the last BBQ this term
but we are planning a Welcome Back
Saturday BBQ in September.

SATURDAY 01 MAY 2010
Thanks to all 130 of you
who braved the cold to huddle around our
BBQ and have a warming burger, coffee and
cakes! Our next BBQ is on Sat. 5th June
which is bound to be warmer so we can
hopefully spill out into the playing
fields and playparks. These summer BBQs
are a great opportunity for parents,
children, staff and friends to get
together whilst raising a little money to
buy the school a fifth interactive
whiteboard.

QUIZ NIGHT
06 FEBRUARY 2010
This
was our second annual quiz night,
hosted once more by Tina and David,
our quizmasters extraordinaire! They
certainly set us entertaining,
challenging and thought-provoking
questions, and a great time was had
by all as can be seen by these
pictures of a transformed dining hall.
Our brain cells were helped along by
delicious homemade canapes and drinks.
Many thanks to all of you who came
along, and for those teams which didn't
win, well there is always next year!

CHRISTMAS FAYRE
28 NOVEMBER 2009
Thank you to
everyone who supported the Fayre. We
raised around £2,000 for the school
and had a marvellous day browsing through
the 30 stalls offering original gifts,
sampling festive cakes, enjoying the BBQ
and refreshments, and of course the
children were entertained with games,
crafts, competitions and helping.

PTA WALKING CLUB IN 2010
We are hoping to
introduce termly one monthly walks on a
week day morning, somewhere near the
school, with coffee and bacon rolls
afterwards. If you are interested please
speak to any PTA form
Our first
Saturday BBQ took place on Saturday 19th
September with an amazing turnout of over
200 parents, children and friends.
Many thanks to everyone who came along
and made our BBQ, and the accompanying
ski-sale, such a resounding success.

WELCOME PARENTS TO A NEW
TERM
09 SEPTEMBER 2009
We held a coffee hour on
Wed 9th Sept to welcome parents to a new
term. As you can see plenty of mums, a
few dads and young children came along to
enjoy an early morning coffee and
shortbread. Thank you to everyone who
dropped by. Our coffee hours are held at
the start of each term.
