The
children had a wonderful day on their
project-related outing to Cairnie Fruit
Farm. The damp, chilly
weather did not inhibit their
enthusiasm, interest or participation
in play activities. They were able to
observe the poly-tunnels where the
various fruits grow and the big,
bright orange pumpkins ready for
Halloween-lantern making. The
children were able to explore the
maze of maize but teachers
could not lose them!! The boys and
girls were able to practise their
driving skills on a variety of
tractors, diggers, tricycles and go-karts.
Rowan, our gap year student friend,
could not drive fast enough to keep
his little passengers satisfied!
There was so much to see and do that
the children could not decide on
their favourite activity but
the coach journey to Cairnie and
snack provision were high on the list!!!
