PRE-SCHOOLERS ARE ALWAYS ON THE GO!

05 Nov 2010
A little robin has been visiting our Pre-School window this week.
We decided to make some bird feeders using melted lard and seeds.
We hung some around the school and took some home for other birds to enjoy.

This week the children have learned about the mathematical sequencing of planting, growing, harvesting, washing, peeling, boiling, mashing and eating mashed potatoes!! Mashing our potatoes using our muscles and a potato masher. Washing all the dirt off the potatoes we harvested from the Pre-school garden. Grating and peeling the potatoes ready to put in the pot to boil.
Eating our home grown mashed potatoes. Mmmmm.
