What does P.S.H.E. stand for?

Personal and Social Development is a fundamental part of the curriculum for all pupils.
The aim of the programme is to develop a consistent approach that promotes positive attitudes, sets realistic expectations and provides opportunities for praise and support as appropriate.

In order to develop a whole-school approach the class teachers in Forms I-IV will deliver the programme.
The P.S.H.E. in the Senior School is delivered by Charlie Reynolds in consultation with the Science and Religious Education departments. By promoting the children’s self-esteem, self-awareness, independence and sense of social responsibility, it is our hope that the children will be encouraged to develop to their full potential and make a positive contribution to the school and the wider community.
