Welcome to Craigclowan.
We are unique in Perthshire as a fully co-educational,
independent day school catering for
children from the age of three to
thirteen. Located on the edge of The Fair
City, we are fortunate to be able to
offer a rural setting with superb, modern
facilities.
Our
aim is simple: to provide an all-round
education for our pupils that prepares
them for the senior school of their
choice and in doing so, discover the
balance between work and play. We expect
our pupils to be caring, responsible and
independent and to have the time and
space to enjoy the opportunities that
childhood offers in our beautiful and
private grounds.
Schools
are centres of learning and we attain
high academic standards through the hard
work of our pupils and the efforts of our
dedicated staff, who are quick to
acknowledge and reward endeavour and
achievement.
The
forging of friendships, acquisition of
traditional values and the development of
personal qualities are also at the heart
of what we do and everyone in the
Craigclowan community believes that
education extends outwith the classroom
walls. Our extra curricular programme is
extensive and varied: encouraged to
participate fully, our pupils become
interesting, involved and busy.
Success
in all areas is important and we try to
measure it not only in absolute terms but
also through improvements made, however
small, and in finding new skills and
talents that can be nurtured. Each child
is an individual and our pupils are
treated as such as they learn to respect
and work with each other in many contexts.

taste of daily life here: the best way to
get a feel for the unique atmosphere of
